>> A staff research assistant position is available at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Division Neuroscience Research Institute.

>> The project goal is to identify new markers on breast cancer stem cell. This  will serve as the first step towards identifying the role of these cells in breast cancer. Techniques applied are antibody phase display, laser capture microdissection, immunohistochemistry and standard molecular biological and protein biochemical techniques. Knowledge of basic molecular bioliogical, biochemical  and cell culture techniques is expected.
