The IsZEB Cluster, in collaboration with CERTH/ITI, is hosting on Friday the 25th of September 2020 a webinar entitled «A new Digital Era for the Construction Sector in Greece through BIM Technologies»
The event, with special focus on the Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, aims to inform companies and individual experts of the wider construction industry about the BIM technology itself as well as the advantages and benefits of using it through real-case applications. Representatives from the European Commission and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) will present at both European and National level the legislations, aspirations and incentives provided, regarding actions and initiatives for the digitization of the construction Industry. The second part of the event is dedicated to the distinguished companies of the AEC industry, which will present practical applications and examples of projects that successfully integrated BIM solutions, whereas at the final part, the audience will have the opportunity to get informed about new tools and practices emerged from research activities, aiming to further develop BIM technologies.
Experts, industry professionals, academics and representatives of legislative and institutional bodies will provide valuable insights to the audience in order to strengthen and digitize the construction industry. Ultimately, the goal of the event is for companies and industry professionals to gain a better understanding of the technology that is already shaping a new future.
