@ From 1 July to 31 December 2011, Poland will hold the six-month rotating presidency of the European Union.
@ This will be the very first time that Poland will take on this role since joining the EU in May 2004. The Poland will act in close coordination with the two following EU presidency holders Denmark (January-June 2012) and Cyprus (July-December 2012).
@ The Polish Presidency will aim to put the European Union on the path to faster development and will focus on three priorities:
