The Institute of Agrobiotechnology - INA was established in 2000 as part of the Centre for Research and Technology – CERTH.

INA's main activities are:
>> the support of the basic and applied research in the sector of genetics, genomics and biotechnology
>> the implementation of research achievements and the exploitation of new technologies for the development of new products and services
>> the provision of consultation services, support and reinforcement of the productive backbone of our country aiming at economic and social growth based on sustainability.
