The Informatics & Telematics Institute (ITI) was founded in 1998 as s non-profit organisation under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of Greece, with its head office located in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Since 2000, ITI is a founding member of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).
ITI's mission is the scientific and technological research in the fields of Informatics, Telematics and Telecommunications and the application, promotion and exploitation of research results in collaboration with the National and European industry, the International academic and scientific community and both private and public Sector.
