>> The goal of this event is to serve as both the premier conference presenting best Grid Networking research and a forum where new concepts can be introduced and explored.

>> In addition to the main conference program, three workshops will be co-located with the event, each one focusing on a cutting-edge topic associated with grid networks:

• green grids
  aims at investigating the opportunities and challenges offered by and within Grid deployments to reduce energy consumption
• optical grids
  will focus on the most significant aspects of service awareness deployment in optical grid infrastructure
• wireless grids
  will discuss the key research topics in wireless grids formed by mobile devices such as mobile phones, wireless sensors, and netbooks
