Special Session 3: Inland Waterway Systems – Potential for Development , Organized by Prof. Adam J. Czarnecki , Nicholas Copernicus University, Poland.
 
Special Session 4: Carbon and Rural Development , Organized by Dr. Maria Cristina Amezquita , Ciat Science Park, Colombia.
 
Special Session 5: Present Problems of the Wetland Systems , Organized by Dr. Georgi Zhelezov Georgiev , Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria.
