Fulbright Scholarships for 2007-2008

Athens, September 18, 2006 - The Fulbright Program, one of the largest and most diversified educational exchange programs in the world, originated in the United States in 1946. The Program achieves its most fundamental objective, to promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States and those of other countries, by providing grants to U.S. and non-U.S. students, scholars, researchers, and artists, to study and teach in each other's countries.

The United States Educational Foundation in Greece, established in 1948, administers the Fulbright Program between the United States of America and Greece. The Fulbright Foundation in Greece takes pride in being the oldest Fulbright Program in Europe and the second-oldest continuously operating Fulbright Program in the world.
