› HomeInstitutes |  | The Chemical Process Engineering Research Institute (CPERI) was founded in 1985 in Thessaloniki, Greece. From 1987 to March 2000, CPERI was part of the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH).
In March 2000, CPERI became a founding member of the new research center, the National Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH), established in Thessaloniki. CERTH reports to the General Secretariat of Research and Technology (GSRT) of the Ministry of Development.
CPERI's new research facilities, built with the financial support of European Union and GSRT, are located at the Technology Park of Thessaloniki (TPT) in Thermi. |
|  |  |  | The Informatics and Telematics Institute was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organisation (presidential decree 17/1998) under the auspices of the General Secretarial of Research and Technology of Greece, with its head office located in Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 10.3.2000 it is a founding member of the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) also supervised by the Greek Secretariat of Research and Technology. |

Also training and education activities in related fields, dissemination of research activities and the Representation of Greece, in Transport Research and other relevant scientific fora abroad. |

|  |  |  | The Institute for Solid Fuels Technology and Applications (ISFTA) is the main Greek organisation for the promotion of research and technological development aiming at the improved and integrated exploitation of solid fuels and their by-products. |
