The award
The 1st poster award of the 9th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management has been awarded for a second consecutive year to the Hydroprocessing group of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) for the poster entitled “Hydrothermal liquefaction of spent coffee grounds targeting liquid biofuel intermediates”
The Conference was held in Corfu on 15-18 June, 2022.
The study contributed in valorization of spent coffee grounds as feedstock for biofuel intermediates via hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL). Also, HTL main parameters were examined in terms of oil, solid and gas yield.
