Dr. Nikolaos Koukouzas (Director of Research at CERTH) with Dr. Pavlos Tyrologou and Dr. Petros Koutsovitis are guest editors of the Special Edition of the Scientific Journal
Applied Sciences (Impact Factor 2,474) entitled "Climate Change, Carbon Sequestration and Energy Storage".
This special edition will focus on climate change and how it can be addressed by exploring carbon capture and storage technologies with con-current or stand-alone energy storage
produced from renewable sources. Emphasis will be placed on the social acceptance of the aforementioned technologies.
Researchers from the earth sciences, engineering and social sciences are invited to contribute to this special issue, disseminating the latest scientific developments in this highly multidisciplinary field.
The submission of scientific articles by researchers, as well as other authors, for this Special Edition can take place until November 30, 2021.
