Dr. Sotiris Patsios, Collaborating Researcher at CPERI / CERTH and Dr. Tom Curran, Assistant Professor at the School of Biosystems and Food Engineering / University College Dublin are guest editors of the Special Issue of Sustainability journal (Impact Factor 2.592) titled “Recycling and Valorising Waste from the Agri-food Sector for Sustainability”.
This special issue will focus on sustainable practices and technologies for the valorisation of agro-industrial by-products, which may find application across the entire agri-food sector, and which can lead to the creation of sustainable value chains in the farming, commodity processing, and food production and distribution sector. Researchers with a scientific background on Natural Science and Engineering are invited to contribute to this special issue by presenting the latest scientific progress in this highly interdisciplinary field.
