>> The PROMITHEAS Conference started as an activity of the FP6 funded project titled "PROMITHEAS-2" and has become a traditional annual meeting for scientists and researchers working in energy and climate change policy issues.
>> This year the Conference is oriented to "Policy Portfolios for emerging economies". In the frame of this topic the outcomes of the FP7 funded project “PROMITHEAS-4: Knowledge transfer and research needs for preparing Mitigation/Adaptation policy portfolios” will be presented in a special session along with proposals for the optimization of these portfolios for the countries that participate in the project.
>> The outcomes concern the Mitigation/Adaptation policy portfolios for twelve (12) countries (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine).
