European BioPerspectives : En Route to the Knowledge-Based Bioeconomy [30 May - 1 Jun 2007]

The German presidency of the Council of the European Union will see the launching of a high-level biotech conference entitled En Route to a Knowledge-Based Bio-Economy in Cologne.

>> This conference will kick-off the third European BioPerspectives which is being organised by 18 biosciences organisations. It will present an outstanding scientific programme, industry exhibition, and tech transfer partnering sessions.

>> Political representatives, industry leaders and renowned scientists will present their views on the ongoing transformation of major industries through biotechnology.

>> The public presentation of the Cologne Paper on the perspectives of biotechnology for the next 20 years will be one of the highlights of the conference.
