>> This is the 3rd conference of the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Community in Greece, following previous meetings in Crete and Athens. Apart from the scientific program, the conference will also have as a primary goal the formation and expansion of a Hellenic Society for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (its legal formation is well under way).
>> The objectives of the proposed society will focus around promoting research, training and education of this cutting-edge discipline at national level, and the participation of the society in international organizations, such as ISCB, as a regional group.
